Our Child Matters

As we step into the weekend, here is an important reminder for every parent and caregiver:
Children are often taught to be polite.
But they must also be taught to be firm.
Body safety education is not disrespect.
It is protection.
Every child should know:
✔ They have the right to say NO to uncomfortable touch.
✔ They can shout if they feel unsafe.
✔ They can run from danger.
✔ They must report, even if someone says “Don’t tell”.
This weekend, intentionally teach your child to say:
“My body belongs to me. I can say NO.”
Prevention starts with conversation.
Confidence is a child’s first layer of protection.
