Protecting Your Relationship (Hebrews 13: 4-7, Matthew 5:28, Proverbs 20:6) – The lessons we get from society are that “it’s OK to look” and “it’s not really cheating if ________.” The lessons we get from scripture tell us a much different story. Participants examine daily threats to their marriage and steps that can be taken to combat them.

Unconditional:

I Love You as Long as… (Proverbs 19:22) – Have you ever found yourself falling into this trap? Love is not based on good works by our spouse or adherence to our expectations. Love in a Christian marriage is unconditional, the way Jesus loves us.

Respect:

Coming to Know Our Marital Roles (Ephesians 5:33, 1 Peter 3:1-22, Colossians 3:18, Titus 2:4-5) – The topic of submission to the husband is a touchy one, and that’s why it needs to be understood as a joint effort. It is the husband’s role to be a servant leader. The wife can set the couple up for success by respecting her husband.
