Although changes in the colour of your urine may be due to illness or use of certain medications, generally, it is majorly affected by your level of hydration.
In other words, your urine colour can be an indicator of whether you are well hydrated (taking enough water) or dehydrated (not having enough water in your body).
Generally when your urine is transparent or pale yellow, you are well hydrated. But when it is deep yellow or amber, you are most likely dehydrated.
