This post is for my new followers and some followers who may not know much about me.

Swipe left to see a throwback to some years ago (around Year 2014 or so) while pushing for defining my impact in the World of Health Insurance/ Healthcare Financing in Nigeria.

I was the youngest Manager amongst the Management Team Members at this Insurance Firm back then. When I look back at these years, I see the Hand of The Father in retrospect.

God indeed is a master story writer, and the best Director of my life’s movie. I was just being faithful in my assignment, and there, He defined what my Life was all about, clearly!

This particular day when we had this Management Photoshoot , I was worried about impact. I was concerned about what exactly my impact should be in the World. I looked like I was doing great for myself that time, but the Father was nudging me that there is more!

I found out what that more really is, and now it is a reality. Teaching about relationships and Marriage was not a part of my core in terms of impact in the past. Today, it forms a part of my core. The Father gave me a model to run with: how to be a King in the marketplace and be a Priest in His Kingdom.

That model was an epiphany. I have not recovered from it till date. My marriage teachings form my core as a Priest in His Kingdom, while my corporate career forms my core as a King in the marketplace. There will be intersections of these two at different points in time. It is all a part of the design!

In case you are meeting me for the first time, I am Dr. Dami Adeyemi-Levites. I am Medical Doctor, Chartered Accountant, a Health Tech and Finance Professional, an Entrepreneur/Venture Capitalist, but also a Marriage and Relationship Teacher. I live that humanity may breathe easier, one family at a time.

The Male seed has been under serious att@ck right from the beginning of creation.

Being the one saddled with the responsibility of headship and leadership in the Father’s agendas for Families on earth, the enemy goes straight for the head like a sniper per time when destr*ying homes.

Once you strike the shepherd, the flocks will scatter. We have bad leaders in our nation today because when they were boys, the men in their lives failed to take full leadership responsibility for them. They perhaps were nowhere to be found, and their boys got mentored by wrong folks.

For every boy child, there is always a hero he sees and wants to be like. When the father figure who is supposed to be this hero, or at least guide him into choosing his right hero(es) in life as a young boy, is missing, the boy will find his hero one way or the other.

Unfortunately, because boys are boys and not men yet, they may lack the capacity to choose the ideal values they should look for in their heroes.

Because we live in an age where materialism has eaten so deep into the fiber of our society, what the boys see are material wealth and not values that are more important.

Does this explain why we have more thi*ves and liars in governance? Does this explain why we have more yahoo boys rising up in their numbers in Nigeria, and even sometimes with their parents in full fledge support of their criminal activities?

Good apples don’t fall from bad apple trees. If we really want to rid our society of bad governance, we need to pay a great deal of attention to the family units that make up our society. The family units are bleeding badly at the moment. Revival should start from there first! Selah!

Throwback to one of our dancing sessions at our wedding over 7 years ago….. And it’s been a great dance, living happily ever after. Glory to God!

This is the BEST Father’s Day ever for me. Wifey (who I know doesn’t throw words around anyhow) told me these words this morning, and I was really happy to know that:

“Dami, you are the Father I wish I had while growing up as a child. Thank you for being an awesome Dad to our boys, and I am so proud of you”

That meant the world to me, knowing fully well what Fatherhood meant and means to my loving Wife

I bathe my boys, cream them, get them ready for school , take them to school, play with them, gist with them, and of course, discipline them daily!

Sometimes I still feel I don’t do this Father thing as perfect as I would have loved to, like many men also think they don’t out there. But I read an article sometime ago that once you start thinking like that as a parent, you are already doing something right! You are already aligned with that agenda to give your children what you could not experience in terms of great parenting while growing up.

Feeling inadequate as a Father? nah! Don’t feel that way anymore. Keep giving your best. Keep being there for your children and your family, and other people’s children as well. One day, it’ll all add up, and you’ll get to know that you are an amazing Dad!
