It is so unfortunate that some candidates with the marital status "married" make this mistake during interviews.

Some people go as far as saying, " i am the first born of the family and bread winner 😆 "

Other will say, "I am married with 4 kids, unfortunately 1 died, so I am left with 3 kids." You want to turn the interview session to nollywood Epic show 🙆🏽‍♂️

Some people go as far as explaining their family problems, habaa 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

This is your private life. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Based on the atmosphere of the interview, the interviewer can decide to ask "what is your marital status" your answer should be simple and straightforward "yes" Unless you are asked how many kids, you can mention.

The interview panel is not a storytelling session. It is an avenue to showcase why you are the right pick for the job.
