Day 40
TOPIC :
OJÓ ISIMI IMO OPE – JESU WO JERUSALEM
(Palm Sunday – The Triumphal Entry of Jesus Christ)
Bible Reference:
Matthew 21:1–11
Mark 11:1–11
Palm Sunday marks the day Jesus entered Jerusalem like a King, but not with pride or war — He came in humility, riding on a donkey.
The people welcomed Him with joy, shouting:
“Hosanna!” (meaning Save us now!)
They spread palm branches and clothes on the road, honoring Him as King.
But here is the deep truth:
👉 The same crowd that shouted Hosanna would later shout “Crucify Him.”
This shows that:
Many people follow God emotionally, not truly.
Not everyone who celebrates Jesus is genuinely committed to Him.
🔥 Spiritual Lessons:
Jesus is King — but a humble King
He didn’t come to show power, but to save souls.
Don’t be a seasonal follower of Christ
Some people praise today, deny tomorrow.
True worship must come from the heart
Not just shouting, singing, or public display.
Recognize the time of your visitation
Jerusalem missed their moment — don’t miss yours.
Application (For Your Life):
Are you following Jesus because of blessings or because you truly love Him?
Is your worship real or just for show?
Will you still stand for Him when it’s not popular?
Prayer Points:
Lord, help me to follow You genuinely, not emotionally.
Father, remove hypocrisy from my life.
Jesus, be truly King over my heart.
I will not deny You in difficult times.
🎶 About the Hymn:
The hymn “Ma gesin lọ l’ọla nla Rẹ” is celebrating Jesus’ kingship and victory, encouraging us to honor Him as the glorious King, not just with words, but with our lives.

DAY 39
TOPIC: ÒTÍ MÍMÙ, SÍGÀ ATI TÀBÀ FÍNFÍN
(Drunkenness, Smoking and Snuffing)
Bible References: Prov. 31:4–7; Hab. 2:15; Gal. 5:21; Luke 21:34; 1 Cor. 5:11; Gen. 9:20–24
Drunkenness and addiction to substances like ci******es and s***f are not just physical habits—they are spiritual traps that gradually take control of a person’s life.
The Bible clearly warns in Galatians 5:21 that drunkenness is a work of the flesh and those who practice such will not inherit the kingdom of God. What may start as “just a little” can grow into bo***ge.
In Habakkuk 2:15, the Bible condemns giving drink to others to make them drunk. This shows that both participating in and promoting such acts are dangerous before God.
The story of Noah (Genesis 9:20–24) reminds us how drunkenness can lead to shame and loss of dignity. A man who once walked with God became exposed because of uncontrolled indulgence.
Today, many youths see smoking and drinking as “normal” or a sign of maturity, but Luke 21:34 warns us not to let our hearts be weighed down with drunkenness and the cares of this life.
Key Lessons
Addiction weakens spiritual sensitivity.
What controls you becomes your master.
Drunkenness leads to loss of dignity and direction.
A holy life requires discipline over the body.
Reflection
Is there any habit controlling me instead of God?
Do I justify what God has condemned?
Am I influencing others negatively through my lifestyle?
Prayer Points
Lord, deliver me from every addiction and unhealthy habit.
Break every chain of drunkenness, smoking, and substance dependence in my life.
Give me the grace to live a disciplined and holy life.
Help me not to be a bad influence to others.
Fill me with Your Spirit so I will not satisfy the desires of the flesh.
Your body is the temple of God—do not allow anything to control or defile it. True freedom is not in indulgence but in self-control through Christ.
Stay sober. Stay spiritually alert. 🙏
