Morning prayer
Mighty Lord, you are marvellous and can do the impossible. I believe that you are faithful and awesome. Thank you for the gift of prayer. Thank you for the privilege of talking to you. Thank you for showering me with your blessings. Teach me to pray with trust in your love. Give me the grace to persist in my prayer. Help me to stay focused on you so that I can learn to rejoice in all things. Lord, I will bless your name at all times, for your love is greater than any situation I am facing. I believe that you can turn sorrow into joy. I run to you. I am not afraid to say that I am sick and in need of healing. Help me to avail myself of all the grace, healing, mercy, and love that you have set aside for me. Help me to stay close to you so that I can embrace the plans that you have for me. Holy Spirit, you make all things new. You bring hope alive in my heart. Help me to embrace your vision and dream. I want to become a vessel of your grace and power, and I know I cannot do this on my own. Holy Spirit, make your thoughts my thoughts and your desires my desires. Show me how to bring you glory and honour in all that I say and do. Amen.
