President Bola Tinubu has relieved Wale Edun from his position as Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, and appointed Taiwo Oyedele as the new Minister of Finance.

Yesterday, BLord was calling VeryDarkMan’s lawyer, Barrister Marshal, an ex-k0nvict simply because he was once deta!ned for failing to produce his principal whom he had stood surety for. That situation does not qualify anyone as an ex-k0nvict.

Now that BLord himself has spent 20 days in ja!l, I hope he will accept being called an ex-k0nvict too.

He was very quick to label Barrister Marshal an ex-k0nvict after his own SAN (Senior Advocate) refused to come to court to debate with Marshal, saying he couldn’t stoop so low because Marshal had been to ja!l before.

Based on that, BLord hurriedly concluded that Marshal is an ex-k0nvict.

The truth is, it takes a court judgment and actual sentencing for someone to be legally termed a k0nvict let alone an ex-k0nvict. Even then, it’s not always appropriate to refer to someone that way.

Now that BLord has found himself in the same position, I wonder if he will accept the same label he was so quick to give Marshal.
