PASTOR OKAFOR SCANDAL: STEPPING DOWN IS NOT JUSTICE

Serious s&xual misconduct allegations, including claims involving minors, have been made against Pastor Chris Okafor. Yet all we have seen are incincere apologies backed up with lies and stepping out of pastoral duties for just one month.

PFN has commenced its proceedings and may likely suspend the embattled pastor. However, PFN has stated that it is not their responsibility to prosecute, but that of the Nigeria Police. So why is the Nigeria Police silent?
Why is the government silent?
Must citizens always submit petitions before the law works?
Church discipline is not justice.
Apologies are not accountability.
If allegations this serious can be ignored because of status and influence, then the system has failed the true victims.
Are powerful religious leaders above the law in Nigeria?

Tonto Dikeh recently repented and has been seen leading prayer sessions online and also assisting church workers to clean the stadium ahead of the Prayer session tonight.

Having watched her testimony at Streams of joy, it seems she is genuinely determined to turn her life around. Regardless of the trolling and mockery, she has made some good steps that needs to be commended.
