Nobody talks about how comfortable overthinking can be.

Yes, it can be comfortable.
Because tell me how you can spend an entire year working on a decision without ever actually making it. Or how you can convince yourself you’re in a season of preparation when really you’re just being avoidant. Or how planning can become its own form of procrastination.

Well, here’s what overthinking costs you: time. The one thing you cannot get back. Every day you spend thinking about the life you want instead of building it is a day that version of your life moves further away. This might go unnoticed as time goes by but over months and years, the compounding effect of inaction can get really devastating.

The truth is, while overthinking is comfortable, you can’t think your way into a new life. Because life doesn’t respond to intention, it responds to action. Most times the life we desire just needs us to get up and move.

If you’re serious about the life you keep imagining, you then definitely have to take action!

Lately, I’ve been reflecting a lot on what it truly means to walk with God beyond routine. I’m realizing again that some of the most important moments in our journey with Him are not always loud or public. Sometimes, it could be in the quiet places or those seasons where He stretches your heart, calls you deeper, and reminds you that He still desires fellowship with His people.

More than ever, my prayer is that the whole earth will truly be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God as the waters cover the sea. Through sermons, conferences, and believers who are genuinely surrendered to Him.

I believe God is still drawing hearts back to Himself. He still meets people in very real ways. And I also believe there’s still beauty in believers coming together to seek Him sincerely, reminds me of the apostles in the book of Acts.

That’s part of what’s on my heart as I prepare to host the Ottawa Believer’s Meeting in June. If you’re in Ottawa or anywhere nearby, I’d truly love to fellowship with you.
