When this year started, I didn’t partake in the fasting churches do during the beginning of the year.

After the Sunday service and cross over I went to have fun, Zoomed to Lagos Island. Had Fun, ate and enjoyed!
My spirit was willing but my flesh, Hmmmm…. In essence, I didn’t fast one day! Abasi Mbok o.

But guess what? God was still with me. He didn’t leave! My year ended better than last year spiritually. I stopped a lot of things I couldn’t. 😮
Why? Because I had a little revelation of how to stay in the presence of God.

Now, some people partake in the Annual fasting, but after all that they still went back to their dirty lifestyle in 2023. Some even ended this year worse despite you fasted 30 days, 60 days or 100 days.

Remember when Jesus completed his fasting he was tempted. So do you also…
You’re fasting for your spiritual growth yet no change because you lack just one knowledge. SIN.
Oga stay away from Sin…
If you don’t study your Bible or pray from now till the next 12 hours. God will still be with you.
But if you Fall in sin for 5 seconds. The presence of God will depart from you.

See ehn, God is too holy to behold sin…
No matter your 100 day and night fasting and prayers, just one one sin can make you start all over again… Imagine Jesus fell into Satan’s temptation? Or Joseph fell into Potiphar’s wife temptation? Haaaa 😮

Better know this little knowledge about God before you start your fasting next month. GOD DETEST SIN! So fast with revelation. He is too Holy! Too Holy! Too holy to withstand You watching Po*******hy! 1peter 1:15.

Some youths are angry because their church ask them to fast January. They are angry! Hence they see it like an instruction from their pastor and not an opportunity to consecrate their lives. This is where some of our dilemma starts… 😢

Someone who didn’t even fast but he’s conquering sin and living a righteous life with the help of God, staying in his presence is better than you who fasted January and your year didn’t change spiritually… Some of you folks think if you fast and pray God will bless you and wealth will follow you. Madame, it’s for your spiritual growth o, Seek God first that one will come…

Matt 5:48 says Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
In essence Man can be perfect with the grace of God.

In conclusion, Fasting isn’t bad, i fast every month, nothing is wrong. But do it with revelation.
Study the Bible to understand the ways Of GOD.
