DOMINION THROUGH ENDURANCE

"Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life which the Lord hath promised to them that love him"
[James 1:12]

Man was created with the capacity to endure temptation. As a matter of truth, one of the ways man is expected of God to handle temptation is to endure it: "Blessed is the man that ENDURETH temptation..." The word "endureth" is from the Greek "Hupomenō" and it means to remain steadfast under.

Temptation is a test: "...when he is tried..." The same way you take tests in class as your participation in education, temptation is a test you take as part of your participation in the earth realm. The intent of every temptation is to test.

The purpose of the test is to confer dominion: "...he shall receive the crown..." The crown is a mystery for conferring dominion.

So when you are tempted in a particular area, the purpose is to establish your dominion in that area.
