I actually blame Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie for the terrible misconception of feminism among Nigerian women, particularly on social media.

If she had championed the movement with more clarity, structure, and guidance, using all her intellect, global exposure, and influence, maybe we wouldn’t have ended up with this loud, chaotic version of feminism that promotes hostility. Because right now, what many women are practicing online is not feminism, it’s antagonism.

True feminism is supposed to focus on equity, opportunity, respect, and not bitterness, not superiority, not competition, and certainly not contempt for men. It was meant to challenge limiting cultural norms, not destroy the very foundation of healthy relationships and coexistence.

Unfortunately, what we now see are women who interpret feminism as a license to insult, belittle, or wage war against men. Chimamanda, being a learned feminist, had the platform and influence to shape a more unified and informed narrative, one that could have aligned with African values, modern realities, and global principles.

Until people like Chimamanda and other influential voices step in to redefine, clarify, and properly educate young women on what feminism truly stands for, the confusion and misinterpretation will continue to spread like wildfire.

I married a single mother I personally do not have anything against single mothers

Marrying a single mother wasn't a big deal because I know that not all single mothers are b@d ....She was beautiful and well endowed

We dated for a year and I married her Last year
December ,she told me she wanted to take her son to meet his father's mother…...I didn't no she took the boy to meet his father instead .She lied to me.
When I realized,l was very angry because before I married her she had an agreement that there would be no contact between her and her baby daddy .But she requested he goes to see his grandmother then which I agreed.

In all honesty, suggested the boy stay with his grandmother but my wife insisted that he wants his son under her roof and since I loved her, l obliqued
So when I caught her taking the boy to his father instead of his grandmother as we agreed ...It caused us a big issu€ but was later settled .She apologized and promised never to do that again and all was going smoothly again.

I never knew she had been taking the boy to his father even before the December that I caught her and also after I caught her.

My fear happened...l went through her phone two days ago and I saw a number that wasn't saved on his phone and it was also locked privately.l never suspected anything so I didn't know my wife could be hiding any conversation from me ..
I opened the lock and started reading the chats .What my eyes saw I couldn't believe it .They were having back to back

I’ve lived in Abakaliki for 5 years now and believe me when I say marriages are bad here! I do not want to generalize it but I think people of this area(name withheld) gives Ebonyi men the bad tag they carry everywhere. Na this particular local govt area give una that bad name believe me!!! I have had about 7 married workers and NONE of them had a good marriage. It was always from one problem to the other. Emotional abuse, physical abuse etc. It’s in the men’s gene and they can’t do any better☹️☹️

One of my staff stopped coming to work since last week. She’s about 5 or 6 months pregnant. Since she doesn’t own a phone I didn’t know the exact reason why she stopped coming. My girls have been saying things but I assume it was all gossips.

This afternoon while at the shop, the said lady came. It was sunny and she was sweating. After exchanging pleasantries, I asked her why she stopped coming to work.
“My husband asked me to stop” she told me
