Okay, so I just spent 20 minutes turning my dog into an astronaut. No regrets. 😂
If you haven’t played with the fun side of AI yet, you’re missing out.
I just discovered Grok AI’s “Imagine” tool (yeah, the one from Elon’s X), and it’s stupidly fast at turning photos into animated videos. We’re talking seconds, not the 10-minute wait you get with Sora or Veo.
Here’s how it works:
1. Go to grok.com, hit “Imagine,” upload a photo (or don’t, if you want pure AI generation)
2. Write literally anything. “Turn me into an astronaut.” “Make my cat fight a dragon.” “Animate this old family photo from 1987.”
3. Hit ‘Make Video’ and here’s the cool part: you can keep tweaking the SAME video instead of starting over every time
4. Toggle between Spicy, Fun, and Normal modes depending on how wild you want to get
I made my profile pic into a sci-fi movie trailer. My team thought it was hilarious. Totally worth the 5 minutes.
But here’s the actual marketing lesson:
Whether you’re making silly videos or building serious marketing campaigns, the quality of what you get from AI depends entirely on how well you prompt it.
If your AI outputs suck, your prompts probably suck too.
Example:
❌ Weak: “Help me learn Python”
⚠️ Mid: “Teach me Python data structures”
✅ Good: “You’re a senior Python instructor. Create a step-by-step learning plan for data structures, including practical examples, common mistakes, and a 30-day practice schedule”
See the difference? Specificity wins every time.
This applies to EVERYTHING. Ad copy, email campaigns, content briefs, video scripts. The better you get at prompting, the better your results.
So yeah, go make yourself laugh with Grok. But also? Practice those prompts. It’s the skill that actually matters.
What’s the weirdest thing you’ve generated with AI? Drop it below, I need inspiration for my next masterpiece.
