Massachusetts Institute of Technology and University of Texas Offer Free Tuition – NBC

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has announced that starting in 2025, students from families earning up to $200,000 annually will qualify for free tuition.

This initiative is expected to benefit around 80% of American families.

Additionally, for families with an income below $100,000, all expenses, including tuition, housing, meals, fees, and books, will be fully covered.

Similarly, the University of Texas (UT) has announced its own program, set to begin in 2025, offering free tuition to students from families earning up to $100,000 annually.
