However, when He the spirit of Truth has come, He will guide you into all truth, for He will not speak on his own authority but whatever He hears, He will speak, and He will tell you things to come.

Lessons:
1. Although we have the ability to choose and make decisions, we can't choose the consequences of our choices.

2. Making decisions under the influence of the spirit makes our decision accurate every time.

3. The Holy Spirit can be trusted in making decisions for us because He makes decisions based on the knowledge of the past, present, and future.

4. How to access the ability of the Holy Spirit to guide:
A. Ask for His input about any decision.
B. Maintain an active spiritual life
C. Maintain the culture of yeileding to His recommendation

5. Other voices that can speak to the believer apart from God:
A. Voice of flesh
B. Voice of circumstances or situation of life.
C.Prophets both genuine & fake
D. Demons( even Jesus experienced it)

6. Testing apparatus
A. Check for complaince with the word of God.
B. Spirit of discernment (sometimes the utterance can be accurate, but the spirit is wrong)

7. Don't be an emergency seeker of the voice of God. Develop the habit of living spirit led.
