Sometimes the hardest thing in life is not hatred from strangers, but rejection for trying to live rightly.

In today’s Gospel, Jesus tells His disciples that the world may not always understand them. Faithfulness, honesty, kindness, forgiveness, and standing for truth can sometimes attract criticism instead of applause. But Jesus reminds us: if the world rejected Him first, His followers should not be surprised when they face the same.

The Christian life is not about popularity; it is about fidelity. A disciple is not called to blend into darkness, but to bring light—even when that light is uncomfortable for others.

Remain faithful. Remain peaceful. Remain with Christ.
