Growing up, pounded yam wasn’t just my favorite meal,the pounding sound from the process gave me an everlasting nostalgia.
Take me back to the cultural and magical moment as my mum and elder siblings took turns with the mortal and pestle to create a rhythm of love.
The sound though chaotic to the ears, brought comfort to my heart that I had a family that loves me
