TOPIC: Living Above Sin
TEXT: — Psalms 119:1— 1 (KJV)
“Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”

The reason you will not sin is not because you fast and pray, not even because you are a titled man and woman in the church, but because you have hidden the living word in your heart.

The proof of every wayward living is traced to lack of the word abiding in the heart of men.

John the beloved wrote in 1 John 3:6 (KJV), saying,
“Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.”

Who is this “Him” that when seen or known, we can't continue to sin? John 1:1 says
"In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the Word was God."

You can't have God abiding in your heart and continue in sin.

Beloved, have you cried in regrets to the point that you've come to the end of yourself? Does it seem like Mr. flesh is always there to manifest? Listen today! Your freedom is in the the living word of God. keep beholding and abiding in the word of God

As you behold the word, you are transformed from glory to glory even as of the spirit (see 1 Cor.3:18).

Hiding the word in your heart means faithing and obeying what the word is saying about you at that time and moment.

MEDITATION
Holiness is achievable if the word abides in your heart.

TOPIC: True Obsession
TEXT: John 4:32,34
But He said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.”
Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.
John 4:32‭, ‬34 NKJV

Before the above statement made by Jesus, His disciples were urging Him to eat something. Perhaps, Jesus had gotten so engrossed with His Father's business (giving life to a thirsty woman), that He had forgotten that there was something called "food."

This had been His habit from the onset (see Luke 2:49). And in the long run, it was this same obsession for God and God's people that kept Him through the trials all the way to the cross, and finally, death.

There is a height that God is taking us to, and that is the place of true obsession. Men who are obsessed about God are men who love Him with all their heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37).

Although, it was a command to love God, only made men can love God recklessly. Joseph (the son of Jacob) was one. Daniel and his three friends, the transformed Peter and the rest of the apostles were others. Apostle Paul was another faithful lover of God. His deeds spoke more.

To understand what it means to love God, our ultimate model is Jesus. For what manner of love would make a man to lay down his life for his friend?

Roman 5:5b tells us that, "because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." The time has come for you to let out that love locked in your spirit. Pour it out to God. Yes, you were made to love Him even more.

CONFESSION
I confess that I love the Lord.
I am obsessed about Him, I am obsessed about His desires. I am obsessed with everything He does.
When I breathe, I breathe in His love.
Everything I do is under the influence of His love.
And through me, the love of God will consume the whole world.

TOPIC: The Building
TEXT: 1 Corinthians 3 : 16-17
KJV:Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

Every building you see has a constructer. Therefore, there's is a builder; there are materials used in the construction; there is a purpose for the building; the building is meant to be occupied.

From our above scripture, its referring to believers as a building/temple. The dwelling place of God. Take note of this basic facts about a building:

There is a builder;
There are materials used in constructing a building;
There's a purpose why its been builded;
There are different building patterns - all buildings are not thesame;
They are meant to be occupied and not to be left empty.

Psalm 127:1
KJV:Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

The Lord God is the builder that designs the you according to His taste. A building cannot build itself; and you are uniquely design for a purpose which you must discover.

The materials of prayers, word study, lifesyle of worship and fellowship are needed in the building process.

The essence of the building is for God to tabernacle in us. You are not meant to be empty. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God? A residence and dwelling place of God's spirit.

A building built halfway is called an uncompleted building which is not fit for residence. Why not stay with God until He completes your making. Many believers tend to leave the training ground prematuredly.

Stay and be builded to completion. Avoid prematured manifestation. Its only the builder that attest to the validity of his building.

TOPIC: Life above the natural
TEXT: 1John 5:11
KJV: And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his son.

Every man that exists upon the face of this earth has life, in fact, the plant and animals do.

At creation, the natural life was given and that made them living things. That life was sufficient enough for God to interact with man. After the fall, man lost that life and death began to prevail over man.

1John 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

To restore men to their original design, A life called eternal life was made available to whomsoever chooses to partake in it (see John 3:16). This eternal life was embedded in one person – Jesus. Meaning, to experience the life that is above the natural, you must contact the source and giver of that life.

1John 4:12
KJV:He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

The above scripture made it clear that whosoever has Jesus has life and whosoever does not have Jesus has the opposite – death. Oh, I have the very life of God in me!

Jesus Christ is the only source of true life. He is the LIFE (John 14:6).

God gave every man the natural gift of life, but the life free from condemnation is received from Christ Jesus alone (Rom 8:2).

"How do I access this life?" Someone may ask. 1John 5:13
KJV:These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Believe on the name of Jesus which is able to translate you from living a natural life to a supernatural life.

The day you hear the Word and believe on Jesus as the son of God, is the day you receive eternal life and pass from death to life.

MEDITATION
Every life outside the life of Jesus is no life at all.

CONFESSION
I have the very life of Jesus in me, therefore, I live above the natural life. Death has no power over me.
