Psalms 121:1 I WILL lift up my eyes to the hills [around Jerusalem, to sacred Mount Zion and Mount Moriah]–From whence shall my help come? [Jer. 3:23.]
Psalms 121:2 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
Psalms 121:3 He will not allow your foot to slip or to be moved; He Who keeps you will not slumber. [I Sam. 2:9; Ps. 127:1; Prov. 3:23, 26; Isa. 27:3.]
Psalms 121:4 Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

Psalms 121:7 The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life.
Psalms 121:8 The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore. [Deut. 28:6; Prov. 2:8; 3:6.]

Romans 3:23 Since all have sinned and are falling short of the honor and glory which God bestows and receives.

This was to show God's righteousness, because in His divine forbearance He had passed over and ignored former sins without punishment.
Romans 3:26 It was to demonstrate and prove at the present time (in the now season) that He Himself is righteous and that He justifies and accepts as righteous him who has [true] faith in Jesus.
