My smallest fondant cake yet!!
I did everything to convince this client to go for a whipped cream cake but she was bent on getting a fondant cake.
I had to oblige.
I decided to cover the cake "quickly" using the blanket method, big mistake!! I was midway into smothing the cake when I realised I should have taken the panelling route.
I had to calm down and get the cake look as clean as possible.
Colour theme was purple and white so I did something really minimalist. Turned out pretty.
Will I ever accept another single layer fondant cake order this small? I DON'T THINK SO
