I had the distinct pleasure of leading the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria (IHVN) team on a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Dr. Bernard M. Doro.

Our conversation was both productive and inspiring. We explored strategic ways to align IHVN’s long-standing expertise in public health, nutrition, and vulnerable-group support with the Ministry’s "One Response Initiative".

For me, this isn't just about policy it’s about people. By combining our data-informed health interventions with the Ministry’s humanitarian framework, we can create a more coordinated and sustainable safety net for those who need it most.

I am firm in my belief that through strong government partnerships and shared vision, we can strengthen resilience, improve wellbeing, and drive truly inclusive development across our nation.
