I was privileged to serve as one of the Guest Speakers during the 2026 celebration held on 8th May 2026, where I delivered a sensitization session on Digital Skills, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the use of Model GPS Camera technology.
During the session, I encouraged Red Cross volunteers on how to effectively utilize five market-demand AI skills and GPS Camera tools to improve humanitarian services and emergency response in line with 21st-century standards.
is celebrated every year on 8th May to honor the humanitarian services of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement across the world. The day marks the birth anniversary of , founder of the Red Cross Movement.
The 2026 celebration emphasized humanity, volunteerism, compassion, and support for vulnerable people during disasters, conflicts, health emergencies, and community challenges. Red Cross volunteers continue to provide emergency relief, first aid, healthcare support, and humanitarian assistance to millions of people worldwide.
The event also served as a reminder of the importance of peace, unity, innovation, and kindness in building stronger communities.

Taraba NYSC AI Empowered Educators Programme Training Report (Day 3)
On 6th May 2026, a successful Day 2 training session of the NYSC AI Empowered Educators Programme was conducted at the NYSC orientation camp, reaching over 150 corps members.
The session focused on introducing participants to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its growing importance in education. Corps members were actively engaged and equipped with foundational knowledge to support digital learning initiatives.
This training is part of the broader Experience AI - Training of Trainers (ToT) programme, which aims to prepare corps members to become AI Educators. The goal is to extend this knowledge to secondary school students aged 11–17 years across Taraba State, promoting inclusive and early exposure to AI concepts.
Through this initiative, participants are empowered to Understand basic AI and machine learning concepts, deliver AI-focused lessons to young students
Contribute to building digital and future-ready skills in Nigerian schools.
The programme represents a significant step toward bridging the digital skills gap and fostering innovation among the younger generation with support from Google Deep Mind and Raspberry Pi Foundation.
