*Casting the Vision*

Another Season: Season of Harvest 3. (John 4:31-38) by Bro Ralph Sylvester-Akindele . " _Do not say, "There are still four months and then comes the harvest? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!.._ .._ . (John 4:31-34)_

This season calls for clarity of vision! We can't afford not to see clearly. Not only that, we must see that which the Lord is seeing. Your priority will influence your vision. What the disciples saw was the mundane; how they would eat. But Jesus was constrained by something different - yes a different vision hence a different mission. He saw the _fields, for they are already white for harvest..._ . Please mark the word _fields_ . The nations are filled with divers fields already white for harvest. What harvest is the Lord specifically talking about? The harvest of souls! Yes, this season is very crucial because it's a season of ingathering. We have to be strategic in winning souls for the kingdom now. But what is the larger portion of the church doing? Eating! And influencing others to eat. _Eating_ is anything that we are doing as a church that is not in alignment with soul winning. How did you spend your time last year? How many souls did you specifically reach out to for their salvation? As a preacher or singing minister what was your underlying message last year? We have been presented with another opportunity to align our vision with the Lord's vision afresh. The Lord had to raise the heads of the disciples to see the fields. Everyone has his or her own field to labor in. We have to locate our own field in the harvest. The condition of the harvest fields is clear. They are *already white* ! What are you seeing? _Four months_ yet to the harvest? No, it's harvest season. We all have to get our sickles of evangelism ready and thrust ourselves into the harvest. Irrespective of your activity or job description, it can be used as a platform for harvesting the fields of the Lord. There are souls everywhere! We only need to lift up our eyes. Don't say, 'There are still four months to the harvest'. Don't procrastinate! Take advantage of every interaction and engagement with people to plead with their souls. Seek and find the lost and bring them to Jesus Christ. The Church must recover this mandate afresh and stop wasting kingdom resources on activities that have no eternal bearing. Maranatha!

Personal Note from Brother Ralph;

We have procrastinated too long. As long as you are born again, it is your duty to see the harvest along with Jesus Christ. You are His legs, His voice, His eyes and hands to reach out to the sinner in the world. He lives in you now and from within you He wants to reconcile men back to the Father. If the harvest was already white for harvest over two thousand years ago, I believe that it is almost dropping off the stems now. It's time for harvest!
