I write with a deep sense of concern and urgency regarding the recent collapse of the vital bridge that serves as the only connecting route between our most economically active communities (Babanna, Lumma, Shagunu, Kabe, Pissa, Konkoso, Guffanti, Agwara L.G e.t.c) within the local government area. This bridge is not just a physical structure; it is the lifeline of commerce, transportation, and daily livelihood for thousands of citizens.
It is particularly alarming that this bridge, which also provides access to the only border *(Babanna border)* generating substantial revenue for the local, state, and federal governments, has remained in a state of disrepair for over two weeks. The destruction caused by the reported bandit attack has left residents stranded, businesses crippled, and economic activities severely disrupted.

The continued inaction and lack of visible effort toward reconstruction are both disheartening and unacceptable. Our communities are suffering immense losses daily, and the longer this delay persists, the greater the damage to our economy and social stability.
We strongly urge all relevant authorities, stakeholders, and political representatives to treat this matter as a top priority. Immediate steps should be taken to assess the damage, mobilize resources, and commence reconstruction without further delay. The safety, welfare, and economic survival of our people depend on swift and decisive action.
