RECENT DEMOLITION OF ESTATE STRUCTURES BY THE LAGOS STATE JOINT TASK FORCE ALONG IBEJU LEKKI, KETU – ITOIKIN ROAD, EPE, LAGOS.

Dear esteemed Clients and Realtors,

We suppose that the recent demolition of some estate structures ( gate houses and fences ) by Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority/ Urban and Regional Planning, would have prompted understandable concerns from the public and especially our esteemed subscribers. However, we would like to assure you that there is absolutely no cause for alarm because of the following reasons:

• Firstly, our MD was personally on site on Friday, 19th April 2024, to receive and discuss with the Lagos State Task Force Team ( led by the Honourable Commissioner for LASPPPA ). Please note that our fence and gate-house at LOTUS ESTATE were absolutely NOT TOUCHED because we had the prerequisite permits to have started construction, unlike some other developments/ estates around the corridor that were not as lucky. Nonetheless, virtually every estate and some new developed private residences were initially marked for identification while we were also served a notice to finalize our layout approval which is already in process.

• Secondly, as a member of the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria ( REDAN ), the situation has been discussed, and it’s being collectively addressed. We shall continue to engage the Lagos State Government Authorities to essentially avoid a reoccurrence of this sort of undeserved demolitions in the future.
