At a time when a music minister competes and compares himself with secular musician, we need a revival. At a time when the altar of God is used for comedy and secular concerts, we need a revival. At a time when death penalties has been placed on the followers of Jesus by satan and the agents of hell.We need revival fire to burn like never before. At a time when the success of a minister of the Gospel is measured by greed, avarice, network, networth and not how much impact he is making in the body of Christ, we surely need a revival.At a time, when passion for souls have been replaced with lust for wealth and our services has become another feel good meetups, social gathering and a fashion parade, and our worship appeals only to our emotions and not spirit filled focussed on the high praise of the almighty God, we need a revival.At a time when motivational speaking and vein rhetoric has replaced sound doctine and biblical preaching, we need a revival. At a time when you really cannot differentiate between the daughters of Zion and decendants of Jezebel, we need a revival.At a time when ministers scheme for postings, position and power, requiring earthly credentials for divine appointment, we urgently need a revival.At a time when modern preachersnow tell us that Jesus is not coming soon, we need a revival. At a time when packaging and special effect has replaced the beauty of God's glory and presence, we need a revival.At a time when s*xual sin is referred to as weakness and the grace of God is taken for granted, we need a revival. At a time when prophets prophesy by divination and profits from false prophecy, we need a revival. At a time when the church does not know the difference between witchcraft spirit and the Holy Spirit, we need a revival. At a time when magic and miracle compete on the same alter. We need a revival. At a time when the enemies of the Cross of Jesus has suddenly become the friends of the Church, and money can buy you access to the front seat of the church, we indeed need a revival. When the haters of the gospel are buzy plotting the death of the Church and the saints, we need a revival. When the church projects are led and funded by ungodly seeds, God we despirately need a revival.At a time when filling the seats in our places of worship has become a priority than raising disciples of Jesus, we need revival.We do not need packed churches but homes and communities that is impacted by the gospel advanced by disciples and delivered by the compassion of brethren. At a time when sinners feel comfortable in our churches and saints feel no sense of urgency to preach the Good news to the lost, we need revival. At a time when leaders are more concerned about how much money members give than how many members are truly saved and love the Lord, we need revival. At a time when the word of God is scarce and the fire on the altar is going out, and the priests have become blind, the watchmen sleeping, and holiness is no longer our standard, we need a revival.We need a revival and not programmes. We need a reawakening of our souls, a new awareness of the power of God. We do not need another convention but a congragation of repented souls coupled with a changed life and a spirit on fire for Jesus and a world awaiting His second coming. We do not need another creed, we need a shaking and a mighty rushing wind. We do not need another movement, we need the coming of the Messiah. Jesus the Son of the living God.We need the Lord to come again and restore us unto himself. We need the Lord to open our eyes again that we may see Him in His Holiness, perhaps by grace, again, we may see our depravity and finally align with our eternal mandate. We need a genuine outpouring of the Holy Spirit, we are tired of speaking in tongues and not living like Christ, a faith not backed by works and signs, prayers without results, gospel without power.There is no other desire that we have than to hear again the same voice that spoke in the valley of dry bones, that brings dry bones back to life.The nations are in darkness, yet we are the light of the world, we cannot endure darkness anymore, Jesus come again in your glory and reawaken us by your fire. Revive us again! We do not see the signs of the times, we rarely hear from the prophets, the apostles are long in a slumber, we do not know how long or how soon you will return, but surely we know this is the season of mercy. Have mercy on us Lord! Revive us again!Jesus said "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatesoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you alway, even to the ends of the world" Amen.
