But desiring wishes with a state of mind that becomes an obsession, then planning definite ways and means to acquire riches, and backing those plans with persistence that does not recognize failure, will bring riches.

The number of products that you will sell in your store should depend on your level of understanding about dropshipping.
If you are totally new to e-commerce, then I will strongly advise you to stick with a one-product store.
If you have more experience with sales and conversion and how automation works, then you can scale to a niche store.
Upselling and Cross-selling are great to increase your AOV* and LTV* if you are running a niche store.
*AOV (Average Order Quantity)
* LTV (Life Time Value)
In my own experience, 3-5 categories, and 15-20 products in a niche store are ideal.
The type of store that I won't recommend you to sell, no matter your level of experience is a General store.
They are very hard to scale and build a brand around it.
