⏺FAKE RESUMPTION NEWS
Amidst the battle against COVID-19, it seems some students are bored at home and desperate to resume school. Fake news of government setting June 1st as date for all educational institutions to resume started circulating the internet on May 7, 2020. However, the Federal Ministry of Education took to their Twitter handle to refute the statement. All schools remain closed until further notice!
⏺ASUU STRIKE CONTINUES!
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) commenced a nationwide strike action on 23rd March, 2020. Despite different tactics by the government to pull them out of their strike, the union remains adamant that the government should make good on their past memorandum of agreements and also to exclude the members of the union from the IPPIS salary payment system.
