CHILD PROTECTION NETWORK NIGERIA (CPNN)
OYO STATE CHAPTER

*INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE BOY CHILD*
CPNN Oyo State celebrates every boy child today and reaffirms its commitment to raising boys who will be positive lights against violence, abuse, injustice, and insecurity in our society.

On this important day, CPNN strongly condemns the attack on schools in Ahoro-Esinle community, Oriire LGA, Oyo State, where gunmen invaded Baptist Nursery and Primary School, Yawota, Community Grammar School, and L.A. Primary School, abducting pupils, students, and staff, with a teacher reportedly killed.

This is a painful attack on children’s rights, safety, and education. Schools must remain safe spaces for learning, not fear.

CPNN calls on government, security agencies, communities, and partners to urgently ensure the rescue of abducted victims and strengthen school safety nationwide.

*To every boy child:*
You are created for purpose, peace, and leadership. You are not born for violence but to shine and impact your generation.
