Southwest Nigeria’s inflation picture remains mixed in March 2026: Ekiti recorded the highest food inflation at 20%, while Ondo posted the highest overall CPI at 18.7%. Oyo stood out with one of the country’s second-lowest food inflation rates, at 4.9%, while Osun recorded the lowest CPI inflation, at 5.3%. The national averages closed at 14.4% for food inflation and 15.4% for CPI.
