1️⃣ Laps
Running endless laps is boring and low value. Kids don’t enjoy it and it rarely links to the skills you’re teaching.
👉 Instead: Use tag games. They build fitness, agility, decision-making, and most importantly… FUN.
2️⃣ Lines
Long queues = less learning. Standing around gives children too much time to switch off, disengage, and misbehave.
👉 Instead: Set up small groups, multiple stations, and get everyone moving.
3️⃣ Lectures
If you talk too much, kids will tune out and miss the message. They learn by doing, not sitting and listening.
👉 Instead: Keep instructions short, clear, and let them learn through activity.
