Meet Josephine Monday Gotip

A passionate baker and CEO of MJ Partytime Events, Josephine Monday Gotip, based in Jos, represents strength, growth, and determination.

Life after school, in her words, has been a roller coaster—filled with ups and downs that have shaped her journey. One unforgettable school memory was the day Mr. Zwalnan gave her hot slaps in front of the class—a moment she still vividly remembers.

She describes her younger self as playful, full of life and energy. Over the past 10 years, Josephine is proud of her academic and personal growth, earning both a Diploma and a BSc degree.

Though she hasn’t faced major challenges, she overcame the little ones through prayers and encouragement from those around her. She credits GICOSA for shaping her through early morning devotions, late-night reading, and meditation.

Her biggest inspiration remains her late father, whose impact continues to guide her journey.

‎Back in school, he describes himself as playful yet serious—a balance that still defines him today.

‎While he believes he may not yet be where he hopes to be, he proudly acknowledges that:
