The land is flowing with blood of our innocent parents, children, friends, brothers and sisters.
Those who are still breathing got their eyes and heart blending with tears 😭 and blood 🩸
Many people are displaced from their homes and are staying in IDP camps.
They wake up everyday in the camps thinking about how their farm produce and other products are being destroyed.
Benue State once a resident of peace.
Very welcoming state for visitors or tourism is now a danger zone. 🛑
But this is not time to do blame games on our leaders.
Tiv people and the people of Benue State at large were known to be very defensive.
Why can't our Elders boldly declare, " Or fier nan na fatyo u nyorun hi piaven yase ga" ( No enemy can be able to invade our community) According to the strength of a Tiv man, if this declaration is made "Aondo you na una Kura se." No enemy will pe*****te our community.
Let us not only depend on the State but focus on how we can solidly secure our communities
