Women Held Since October 2023 (Over Two Years):1. . Nkechinyere Ogu : Detained since October 11, 2023, when she went to Tiger Base to negotiate bail for her sister-in-law and stepmother. Despite paying ₦950,000 for her own release, she was not freed and has been held for 26 months without trial.

2: Chinenye Obi : Arrested with her one-year-nine-month-old son in October 2023 because of allegations against her husband. She was beaten and tortured mercilessly, bleeding from the nose. Her son was taken from her to an unknown location, and she has neither seen nor heard anything about him in over two years.

3: Onyebuchi Anyanwu : Arrested with her three children, Peculiar (8 years), Ihuoma (5 years), and Onyinyechi (3 years), in October 2023 over allegations against her husband. When her health deteriorated, she was released briefly. After treating herself, she was arrested again. She paid ₦500,000 for release but was not freed. Her three children were taken from her to unknown locations over two years ago, and she has no information about their whereabouts.Women Held Since October/November 2024 (Over One Year):

4. Chinaza Ifeanyi : Arrested November 12, 2024, with her two-month-old son, Chidiuto Paul, and several other family members by Tiger Base officers led by Inspector Chidiebere Nwosu. Her husband, Ifeanyi Anayo, and two other men (Kingsley Sunday and Chibuikem Maduka) were killed by Tiger Base on February 26, 2025. A pregnant woman (Mmesoma Faith) and two children (Zikora Chimezie, 10 years old, and Ihechi Ifeanyi, 13 years old) arrested with them remain missing. Chinaza's infant son was taken from her and his whereabouts are unknown.

5. Onyemuwa Chidera : Arrested in November 2024 because her husband was accused of being a terrorist. When a lawyer, Barrister Modestus, came to negotiate her bail, he was detained by Tiger Base.

6. Munachi Ifeanyi : Wife of Ifeanyi Anayo (killed by Tiger Base in February 2025). Arrested in November 2024 over allegations that her husband was IPOB/ESN member.

7. Ngozi Ogbonna : Arrested in October 2024 by Tiger Base and held without trial until arraignment on December 16, 2025.

All seven women were charged with offenses under Sections 401, 402(2)(a)(b)(e), and 403 of the Criminal Code; essentially terrorism-related charges based solely on their relationships to men accused of IPOB/ESN membership. All cases have been adjourned to January 15, 2026, at Magistrate Courts 1 and 10 in Owerri.

Children Separated from Mothers, Whereabouts Unknown

Three of the women arrested with their young children have had those children taken from them to unknown locations. Despite over a year (and in some cases over two years) in detention, the mothers have received no information about their children's whereabouts, welfare, or even whether they are alive.

May's case has turned into the biggest joke of the century. But May is to blame. She surrendered her self and case to a clueless mob which knows nothing.

MAY LAWYER APPLAUD YUL...

‎I only wanted to show May Nation members that they are not as powerful as they thought. Having been on May's case, I knew that May believed they were powerful and invincible. And truly, many people ran from them. I wanted to show there was one person who is not afraid of them.

‎In fact, I would have stopped long ago. But I realized that they were still so stubborn. I needed to show them that not everybody is scared of them.

‎But seeing how they are destroying May, I feel so sad. She has been driven to the point of sharing lawyer's letters on her Instagram page. That is something quite profoundly pathetic. Instead of her products, she is sharing letters and her followers are rejoicing. Instead of her case against Yul, she is getting into a case against her legal team. Where do you think that would lead her to?

‎The only thing that baffles me is why May would need to go through all this when all she needed to do was issue a simple: issue a one-sentense statement on the same page stating that she discouraged bullying especially bullying of DPA. Even if they didn't listen to her, it would be on record that she urged them to stop bullying us.

‎Instead of that, she chose to be stubborn and claim to be a so silent. How can a person claim to be silent and yet be controlling an army? Has she forgotten that we have been with her for 3 years and understand how she operated?

‎Now, look at what she has done to herself? All of a sudden, she has become so controversial and polarizing a figure. She is using her influencer capital to fight us. Sometimes in this life, you save yourself a lot by simple common sense. She wanted to prove to us that she could destroy us with trolls. That's the same strategy she has used in her dispute with Yul and Judy. You made your points and won the fight with Yul long ago: move on and let them move on. But you want to completely destroy them. You no longer want the marriage: so, get your divorce and move on.
