A few things you need to avoid:
· Don’t create a banner with icons and text.
· Don’t use stock photography. You must own the rights to your photos.
· Don’t use the same image as any of your gig photos.
· Don’t add text to your photo.
What I do is go to Google, get some wide background and add some of my sample images on the background to make it mine. You can also design one with Photoshop, logo creator or any free online logo tool. Once you have uploaded your image, click on “Done” and you are done.

Gig Gallery
Gallery photo is the photo that describes or relates to your Gig. They can be samples of your work. In your case, since you have not got one, just find some non-copyrighted JPEG image of size, 550 pixels wide, 370 pixels height, less than 2MB. Just make your image relevant to the message. This should represent a sample of your work and if you want to sell, you need to put up your best work. If you are writing articles, you can put up a pen or a pen on paper image just to give a writing message to your buyer. Take a picture of a pen and upload it, simple. For this photo, you are allowed to add text or anything unlike cover photo.

Description
Here is where you describe what you are offering. Be detailed as possible so buyers will be able to understand if it suits their needs. Make your description very unique to you with relevant keywords you want to rank for in the Fiverr search engine. Write a description that is long but below 1200 characters and really describe what your gig is all about. Notice the top sellers’ descriptions and write something similar but do not copy and paste. You can write your own unique description and don’t worry if you don’t get it right the first time. You can always come back at any time to edit it. At times the system tells you have used certain words more than necessary. Just replace the words flagged with another relevant word or synonyms or delete few lines. This is done to avoid keyword stuffing.

Tags
Tags are keywords that relates to your gig. . They are keywords the buyers use to find relevant service they are interested in. These tags lead buyers to your gig. Use tags relevant to your gig each separated by comma.
Do not add irrelevant tags. Don’t worry your head if you don’t know what tags to use. The best way to find relevant tags is to look for similar gigs of top sellers and write their tags including the one they missed.
Once you complete this step, click on “save and continue”

Page 2 -Pricing
The next page is where we set price for our gig. We will set the basic gig price and gig extras. For “My Basic gig” price. the default price is $5. You can choose the delivery time and also select how many revisions you give for your work. For “Gig Extras”, you can choose extra fast delivery time and 2 extra gigs. Set the price as well as additional time you want the buyer to give you for the gig extras. In case your service involves you shipping product to the buyer, you will need to check the shipping box, otherwise, leave it blank. In this case, we will leave it blank.

Step 3 -Video
This is the third step where we will need to add videos if we have them. You can add videos by clicking on the browse button and upload your video. Your video must not be more than 50MB in size.

Step 4 -Requirement
This is where you give the buyer instructions about what to do before you to start his job. For our video commercial sample, we will add something like you see in the image below. The buyer then goes ahead to supply all the necessary information you need for you to start the job. This information is displayed to the buyer by Fiverr immediately he makes an order. Click on “save and continue” to get to the final step.
