Hello everyone, I would like to share the inspiration behind my creative endeavor, which I attribute to the Holy Spirit. When my client inquired about a Mother Mary cake, I showed her an online picture, which she selected. On Saturday morning, after my quiet time, I received an alternative design concept. I quickly sketched it out on paper and prayed for divine guidance, as this was my first time creating this design. I shared the concept with my students, and together, we worked diligently to bring it to reality.
The end result was a cake that was widely appreciated and admired by everyone who saw it, from my neighborhood to the church where it was delivered. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with some children even singing happy birthday on my way to deliver the cake 😀 Many people took photos and videos of the cake, and I received numerous compliments. One gentleman suggested that I should have added candles, not just the chaplet and the stanchion rope, to which I replied that we would consider that for future designs.
My key takeaway from this experience is the importance of bringing God into everything we do.
