UNTH Foundation Leads the Way in Ward Adoption: A Purposeful Visit by Ezzy International College of Nursing Science, Enugu to the CMD of UNTH
In a meaningful step forward in healthcare collaboration, Ezzy International College of Nursing Science, Enugu, represented by its Administrator Mrs. Peace Ifeyinwa Okwude, visited the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of UNTH; Prof. Obinna Onodugo to formalize their commitment to adopting a hospital ward. This visit, initiated and facilitated by the UNTH Foundation under the leadership of the CEO; Prof. Theresa Nwagha. This reinforces the Foundation's continued mission of building strategic partnerships that improve patient comfort and elevate nursing service delivery.
The gathering reflected a shared vision for excellence in patient care and compassionate service. Welcomed by the CMD, the delegation expressed their desire to support the ward both structurally and operationally—placing comfort, cleanliness, and dignity at the core of their commitment.
Thanks to the guidance and groundwork laid by UNTH Foundation, the logistics of the ward adoption were clearly outlined. Discussions centered on creating a space where patients feel safe, seen, and supported, with nursing services empowered to provide quality care in an enriched environment.
This isn’t just a pledge; it’s the beginning of a new chapter in UNTH’s pursuit of holistic healthcare—one written in partnership, empathy, and purpose. The ward adoption stands as a testament to what can be achieved when institutional leadership, philanthropic spirit, and healthcare service intersect.
With UNTH Foundation leading the charge, and Ezzy International College of Nursing Science, Enugu stepping forward with commitment, this collaboration promises more than comfort—it brings hope.

From Books to Booths, We Showed Up With Purpose!
Thank you, Ndi Enugu!
UNTH Foundation was honored to be part of two incredible events—the Umofia Arts & Book Festival and the Naija Shopping Festival Trade Fair. From cultural conversations to community impact, we witnessed something special: people coming together not just to celebrate, but to uplift.
At Umofia, we dove into stories that heal, connect, and educate. At Naija Shopping Festival, every purchase became a lifeline. Through your support, awareness was raised and hope was funded—and for that, we are grateful.
You proved that art can inspire change and shopping can save lives.
Here’s to more outings with impact.
Here’s to a future where health is a right—not a privilege.
