Mathematics is simple.
Just know the basics.

THE BASIC MATHEMATICS TEACHER.
So I went for home lessons yesterday and I was so excited to see my students elated to learn after a well deserved break for them...
They sure needed it after swimming through their JUNIOR BECE and JSSCE. I know their results will be excellent...
After the necessary pleasantries and brain drills, i took them on the basics and ofcourse what they will see as they climb their Secondary School Education ladder. SS1 or Grade 10 beckons.
The topic was 'The Real Number System' and I repeatedly reminded them that numbers are fundamental to all learning of Mathematics. (This is to avoid their many questions 😋. These dudes can ask a handful of them, I love it though)
Lecture: The Real Number System is divided into two kinds: rational and irrational numbers. Rational numbers are sub divided into integers and non-integers.
Integers are made up of positive, zero and negative whole numbers while non-integers are fractions which could appear in different forms like vulgar, decimal and percentages.
Positive integers alone (1,2,3,...) are called the Counting or Natural numbers.
These natural numbers are divided into the popular kinds of numbers you know, that is
▪️Odd numbers
▪️Even numbers
▪️Prime numbers
▪️Composite numbers...
Do you need someone to teach your kids the basics of Mathematics (Upper Primary and Junior Secondary Classes) this August and beyond? HERE I AM, SEND ME✅...
Have a great Thursday. 🥂
