Chapter 6🖋️

"You!" Aria looked up to see an agry Xander coming down from the staircase.

Aria rolled her eyes and folded her hands below her breast.

This night was already a handful, she was prepared to take in more.

"How dare you think of ruining my name in my social cirle" his chest was rising up and down quickly.

"Believe me, when I say I didn't even try" Aria gave him a cocky smile and this infurtiated Xander.

"Who do you think you are? You are just a low class girl I'm trying to help!" Aria's face dropped but she quickly burst into laughter.

She walked closer to him with murderous intent in her eyes, Mrs Kate jumped into the middle trying to ease the situation but Xander pushed her aside and grabbed Aria's shoulders roughly.

"You better behave yourself, you are nothing without me" he spat and Aria held one of his hand with both of her hand and twisted it behind him.

She drew his back closer to her body, making his ears become closer to her lips.

"You won't see me fall apart" she whispered into his ears and let him go.

She tossed her hair backwards and put on a warm smile but Mrs Kate saw her eyes dim.

Aria helped Mrs Kate stand up and thenA walked upstairs and shut her room door as soon as she got in.

She checked the time, it was past 3 in the morning. She fell on her bed and began sobbing.

His words hurts, they did.

Eric Clapton changed into his pajamas and opened his laptop to do some work when his phone beeped.

It was a message from a code number 101.

:We've done our research, inbox.

He pushed his laptop aside and brought out his tab as he tped some words and a document appeared.

His expression changed and he smiled, he clicked it open and the first name he saw made his heart feel at ease.

MORNING

REECE MANSION

"Hank, I'm scared that Aria would leave soon" Kate couldn't help but confine in her partner.

"Why?" Hank who wasn't at home when the drama happened asked as he buttered his bread.

Kate drank her cup of milk and started feeding her husband on everything that had happened the night before.

"Wow" Hank who had heard everything was confused.

"Xander is changing"

"The entertainment industry is affecting him, he doesn' care about no one but himself" Kate was about tearing up.

Hank knew his wife was so soft-hearted, he stood up from his chair and walked to her giving her a bear hug.

"Mom, I'm home" Kate turned to see her son.

She replaced her was face with a warm smile.

"How was the interview?" Hank asked.

Xander smiled and walked to his parents.

Aria who had been sleeping after the dramas woke up and the first thing she did was to grab her phone.

She unlocked it and the news she saw made her mad, she got out of the bed and walked downstairs to see Xander being lovey with his parents.

She walked to him and not minding her appearance, she gave Xander a tight slap.

Xander who had been papmpered all his life was shocked and confused when a 'low class' girl slapped him.

Kate and Hank were shocked by Aria's action.

"What it the meaning of this?" Aria asked as she showed Xander her phone but all be did was smirk as his eyes displayed his madness.

"Who do you think you are? Huh?" he walked closer and held her roughly.

"You embarrassed Myla and the media outlet found out, do you expect me to sacrifice my career for you?"

"Yes, I consider you a friend but I would give my all to my career."

"And I wasn't wrong, you are from the slums and you sell your body to men..." Aria gave him another slap, this time her slender fingers left their imprint on his face.

She grabbed his collar and drew him closer to her face, "I hate you"

She let him go and walked up to her room as she began arranging her bag. She sobbed loudly.

Kate watched what was happening and she ran up to Aria's room to see her packing.

She ran into thw room and sat on the fllor beside Aria holding her legs.

"Please,don't go, I...I promise to raise my son better" Aria turned to see the woman who was always elegant and graceful looking so messed up in tears on the floor.

Aria felt pity but she had her self respect still intact, she finished packing her bags despite the begging from Mrs Kate,she removed her hand and walked away.

Kate immedately got up and ran after Aria.

Aria had locked her bags and carried them downstairs, she had only spent few days here but they're the best and worst.

Hank who was scolding his son saw Aria coming downstairs with her luggage and Kate crying behind her.

"Please stop her, Hank, please" her soft voice was broken, all the maids quickly hid themselves as they didn't want to be part of the family drama.

Xander stared at Aria, he immediately looked away from her and walked up to his room.

Hank walked up to Aria, "Please, Aria don't go, you are like a daughter to us" his voice was so soft that it hurt Aria.

Aria looked up at the man who had guven her the love of a father, the love she never got to experience as a child.

She smiled warmly, "Thank you for changing my life for a while"

With that she walked out of the door, Kate pulled off her who shoes and tried running after Aria, he let her be.

Aria got into the cab she had ordered and as she got in she turned to see Mrs Kate holding the bars of the gate.

Kate with the most pitiful and sad eyes.

Aria looked away as tears dropped from her own eyes as she drove off.

"I should have neve agreed to come here"

He watched his mother crying bitterly, his heart felt heavy but it was for the best.

"I have to be strong" he told himself as he gazed at the disappearing cab.

He turned his eyes and they landed on a picture of her while she was asleep.

His lips spread wide but soon they started shaking as he fell on his knees.

Tears ran from his eyes, he felt like a failure, "It's for the best."
She left 😢

Chapter 4🖋️

Naturally in movies when the girl rolls off the stairs the boy rushes to save her but the guy in front of her? Huh!

She raised her head and glared at Xander.

"Oh dear child, are you okay?" Kate knelt beside the girl in a panic.

Aria sat down and stared at her legs, "I'm good" she smiled and gave Mrs. Kate a thumbs up and this made the woman breathe a sign of relief.

Aria got up on her feet and straightened the dress, this was her first dress and the silk material made her value it more.

"I'm ready, let's go" her voice sounded influential and it affected Xander in a way that he couldn't rant but had to follow her out.

MANTER MANSION

"53, 54, 55..." Xander glared at the girl before him.

"Why are you embarrassing your beautiful face?" He made a sharp turn and Aria fell on him.

Xander shook his head in pity, "You are so uncultured"

Despite the fave that he wanted her to lean on him, he couldn't help but bad mouth her.

Aria quoted palms 23 in her heart as she tried to keep herself calm from attacking the charming man beside her.

He finally stopped the car after she had recited it twice.

He opened the door and stepped out, he turned to the other side and opened the door for Aria as he let out his hand for her.

Aria's heart skipped a beat but she immediately controlled herself and gave him her hand which he squeezed lightly.

Aria glared at him but he drew her closer and she decided to humiliate him by covering her nose.

"Gosh!"

Xander who wasn't paying attention to her turned to see her closing her nose and her face had an unpleasant expression he felt silly.

After taking endless pictures Xander was already exhausted due to smiling and changing poses but Aria was still filled with energy.

"Why are you acting, cranky?" She glared at Xander, he placed his hands on her almost tiny waist, grabbed her closer to his body, and placed his lips close to her ears.

She wanted to scream but recalled that the annoying camera was still flashing, she smiled brightly and stepped on his toe with her heels.

"You!" he whimpered as he let her go, she placed her thumb fingers into her ears and stuck her tongue out.

The camera flashed harder at this scene.

Xander knew he was losing the spotlight so he dragged her into the venue.

"What was that for?!" anger was the only thing reported in that sentence.

"Your friends are here"

Xander turned to see three young men of his age waking up to him up. One was dressed casually which didn't match the theme of the meeting, the middle being the celebrant was dressed in royal regalia, and the last one had a beautifully dressed girl beside him, she was clinging to him like a leech.

"Master Xander" the one in the middle called out cheerfully as he dropped his empty glass on the waiter's tray which happened to be nearby.

"Prince George" Xander bowed and the guy smiled crazily.

The one on causal had his eyes on the bored-looking lady behind Xander.

"Julie, take Xander's girl to the girls"

"Yes, Drake" The girl who was clinging let go and approached Aria but Xander jumped into the middle.

"What do you need her for?"

"Xander, be cool. We guys need to talk so allow the girls to gossip" George placed his arm around Xander's shoulder.

"But Aria doesn't gossip - she rants"

"Xander be good, I can handle it" her confidence made Drake scoff but the quiet man kept staring at her with no change in his expression.

'Her confidence is attractive' he thought.

Xander gave her a warning glare and she smiled innocently.

She took a glance at the stoic face guy and followed the girl.

His heart skipped, he knew that smile and how it ends.

'My reputation is ruined' he thought as he started praying internally struggling to let go from Drake's embrace but George held his arm fighting his grip in a free manner.

Aria walked into the room and everyone's eyes turn to her, she gave a warming smile as she sluggishly blinked her eyes.

Her head turned gracefully from side to side and the mild wind played its part by dancing through her hair.

The room was filled with spoiled heiress and a few second-generation heirs.

The males loved what they were seeing and some felt the need to protect the girl in front of them.

The girls glared at the beauty before them, her face was makeup free giving everyone a sense of fresh air, her shoulder-length hair which was balanced in its place would dance occasionally to the beat of the wind, and the slit on both sides of the dress exposed her pale spotless legs.

She looked as beautiful as a true heiress from ancient times.

"Good evening" her voice was soft and peaceful, she sat close to the girl that had dragged her away from Xander.

"So, you are Xander's girlfriend" A red-haired girl in a red barbie dress said as she scanned through the seated Aria who maintained a fixed stare on the girl before her.

"Xander has a girlfriend? I pity her" Aria replied succinctly before touching the pearl on her neck in a sluggish but seductive manner.

This little act made her look tired and tempting and the opposite gender wanted to hide her in their pockets.

"She is a world-class slut" The girl who had brought her there told a girl beside her who nodded like a dummy and glared at Aria.

Aria gave her an eye smile then closed her eyes to sleep

"Is she the girl you always talk about?" George asked as he popped the wine and poured it into each glass.

"Hmm" Xander nodded and stretched out to collect the glass, he raised it and placed it close to his lips when he screamed in pain and dropped the glass on the table while rubbing his hand gently.

"You never drink without a cheers" Drake said as he grinned from side to side.

"Michael, you've been quiet since, what's up?" As George mentioned, the duo who were being lovey turned to Michael.

"Stressed" he mouthed and rested his head to close his eyes.

In the quad, Michael has always been the quiet one, he suffered from Moebius syndrome, a condition whereby one can't change their facial expression due to the underdevelopment of some bones.

"Why did you pick her? Out of all the girls in the world?" Drake who was confused asked after gulping down his wine.

"She is unique" Xander imagined her disgusted face when she first met him and a warm smile appeared on his charming face.

"Someone is in love" Drake turned red and he covered his face in a silly manner making the trio laugh.

"Have you told her yet?" Michael who everyone thought wasn't interested finally asked as he adjusted his seat.

"No" his answer was straightforward.

"Why?" Micheal stared deep into Xander as he adjusted himself, Drake noticed the intense stare from him.

Drake removed his hand from the table and placed it under the table till it found Michael's thighs, he rubbed it gently.

Michael understood but ignored it.

"She isn't as elegant as most girls, I can't bare the shame" Xander looked down and slowly he raised his gaze and let out a sigh of relief.

"So you are ashamed of her?" Michael's voice grew weak as if in surprise.

George stared at Drake and even he understood.

"Who wouldn't be?" Xander asked and adjusted his body properly before letting out a little laugh.

Michael was disgusted and he closed his eyes and went back to his sleeping position.

"Priceless" His deep voice filled the air and Xander scoffed as he finally understood.

"She would never go for a guy like you" he mocked.

Michael didn't object as he dozed off.

Aria opened her eyes in a drowsy manner and sat properly.

"Sleeping beauty is awake" The red-haired said as she smiled.

Aria smiled back provocatively.

"Here" the girl passed her glass, Aria stretched her hand to collect it but the girl let go a second earlier and the glass dropped on Aria soling her dress.

Aria stood in shock as the coldness of the drink touched her skin.

"Oops, so sorry" the girl smirked and the other girl burst out laughing.

The coldness of the drink made goosebumps appear on Aria's skin, she shivered and hugged herself while rubbing her bare arms.

"What do you think of yourself?" Her eyes scanned through Aria in a disgusted manner.

"Myla, let her be. Be nice" Julie said as she got up from her seat and walked closer to Aria.

"Where is Xander, I need to see him" Aria demanded as she clenched her fists in anger.

"What do you take me for? Your slave?" Julie's eyes widened and she stepped closer to Aria and dragged her hair.

Aria wanted to attack her when Julie whispered into her ears," Don't embarrass Xander, news would have it that he brought a low-class slt to a high-CLA-class event Aria immediately canceled the thought and pushed the girl lightly.

She wanted to scream Xander's name, she looked around and her eyes fell, she knew that Xander would never believe her over this 'high class' crowd.

She grabbed her purse and walked out of the party despite the mocking calls from behind her.
