I experienced gas accidents early hours of today. (Not fatal, Alhamdulilahi) Though I almost s**t in my pants 🤦

I finished cooking sahur and tried to off the gas cylinders when its control worn out in the process. Making the gas giving that loud sound of vuuuuu vuuuuu vuuuuu, you get right? Thank God! The Gas was off before the control worn out 😢

SubhanaAllah! I was disorganized, frightened, shocked and surprised because the gas control was new and a quality product . I looked at the gas, looked at the direction of my daughters room and real fear catch me.

I quickly opened the kitchen door leading to outside, took the 6kg cylinder near the kitchen door, took rag on the floor to cover the gas burner maybe that vuuuuu sound will reduce, tried the control again perhaps it will work, nothing was working. All through this all I was chanting is Ina LiLlahi wa Ina ilaehi rojiun, SubhanaAllah! SubhanaAllah! SubhanaAllah! Ah! Se asarailu ti wa de naa niyen 🥴... Ya Allah! Have mercy on your slave o 😟

With Allah Rahmah, I looked at the cylinder again and my heart told me to detach the gas burner away from the cylinder, and it worked. No more vuuuuu sound.... I quickly do sujud shukru to Allah for His Rahmah on me and my family 🤲...

Alhamdulilahi the fire was already put out before the handle was damaged. I don't even want to imagined what would have happened.

A house we just moved to a week ago 🙆

NB: The burner is an original one from my first birth Country Abidjan 😊... Not up to 6 months of used... Allahu Alam on what actually goes wrong....
