January is here again.

A lot of parents are preparing their toddlers to start Nursery.

This is becoming a trend,a sad one.

A child who isn't properly homeschool,but is sent to school in second term.
He/She is expected to not only perform well but to be promoted into the next class with his peers who started at the beginning of the session.

Most times, without any extra help from the parents.

Please! Please! and Please.
2 years is the proper age for pre nursery and 4 for Nursery 1.

That your child clocks that age in January or May isn't an excuse to send them to school at that time.

Wait until that September when a new section starts unless you are willing to give room for that child to repeat that class if they fall behind academically.

You as a parent must be willing to do your part.
You do so when you support the teacher,you have to make out time to ‘patiently' teach that child at home or get the service of a tutor.

Do not be in a hurry as a parent.
Don't say your child would be older if you wait till next year.

The older, the easier it would be for that child to assimilate.

That extra 3,5,7,9months extra added to that child's age before September would make all the difference.

Please don't follow that trend this year.
