LETS RE-INVENT OURSELVES, ADAPT TO THE NEW ORDER , AND BEGIN TO EXIBIT THE CREATIVE INGENUITY THAT MAKES US NIGERIANS - ENGR. BEN AKAK.

The Chairman/CEO of Bengies Group of Companies/Ben Akak Foundation , Engr. Ben Akak(Otuekong Ukwa Eburutu), a former governorship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the 2023 general elections, has advised Cross Riverians in particular and Nigerians in general, to immediately re-invent themselves and find a way of adapting to the new order in the country, in order to wade off negative mindsets that could lead to crime or depression.

Engr. Ben Akak while speaking to selected group of friends, Media men and supporters on his return from a tour of destitute and Motherless Babies homes in Calabar, the Cross River State Capital and other parts of the State , where his Foundation, the Ben Akak Foundation took time to give out food items and money to the homes, said his reason for the tour was to have a first-hand feeling of what it is out there to survive the current economic situation in the country .

While acknowledging the current hardship in the country, Engr. Akak urged Cross Riverians in particular , and Nigerians in general not be be despair , but re-invent themselves , adapt to the new situation/order, and quickly begin to exhibit the inherent creative ingenuity of the African/Nigerian child so as to wade off reasoning that could lead to negativity .

While advising political leaders in the country , Engr . Akak said he is aware that the economy of the country is currently passing through the contraction phase, characterized by a decline in economic activity, caused by the recent increase in the price of fuel and therefore advised that government should channel more resources and investment into areas that will increase economic activities , most especially, genuine empowerment of Small and Medium scale businesses and entrepreneurs. Harping on the need to empower more young people to live indepent life, Engr. Ben Akak said, one of his ideas which was part of his cardinal then campaign points was investing more in knowledge transfer, as money in the hands of a young person without any idea on what to use it for is a waste. He therefore advocated for massive serious investment in areas of technological and entrepreneurial knowledge transfer for young Cross Riverians and Nigerians if poverty most be reduced to it's barest minimum, positing that the tech world is producing more rich people than any other sector and that Nigeria must not be left out in taking advantage of what it genuinely offers.

Engr. Akak concluded by reminding Cross Riverians/Nigerians that tough times do not last, but tough people do, emphasizing that there is need to keep hope alive

ENGR. BEN AKAK AT IT AGAIN, WHEN GIVING IS IN THE BLOOD, MAKING UBUNTU HIS RELIGION .

The times are hard, Nigerians are passing through excruciating pains , the level of poverty in the land has increased and people can barely feed. The ordinary person on the street prays for help and helpers to come their way, not to build houses or buy cars, but to put one square meal on the table for themself and family .

Political Philanthropists and givers have all gone on sabbatical and indefinite leave🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣, the streets are empty and cheer singers have no voice again, because hunger is no body's mate . Even when they try to raise their voices in singing their usual alleluja, the reality that it will be without any reward has sealed their lips, with only very few still shouting capacity on empty stomach🤣🤣🤣 . Please, pardon me, it is not an attack but just that I am a writer, I write as the spirit directs🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

A time like this defines the true human nature , a time like this defines real philantropism devoid of any political undertone, a time like this distinguishes people like Engr. Ben Akak whose ideas , thoughts and reasoning is one that sees giving as an obligation they must daily undertake, from political exploiters who would during every electioneering campaign come out to buy the conscience of the poor with Maggie and tomato 🍅 in the name of philantropism .

The recent tour of destitute and Motherless Babies homes by Engr. Ben Akak through the Ben Akak Foundation in Calabar, the Cross River State capital and other parts of the State, is one act that has drawn tears 😭 😭 😭 😭 from my eyes and the eyes of every other good spirited Cross Riverian and and Nigerians who knows what it is to give out a kobo now. It is not cry of sorrow, but of joy, to see a man who is not holding any political office spend his hard earned money to cater for the less privileged with no expectations of immediate reward in return , but on on the believe that it is God in heaven that rewards every man in His due time.

Engr. Ben Akak is a clear definition of South African Ubuntu , a man that believes that humanity should be our religion .

ENGR. BEN AKAK: WHEN THE TIME IS NIGH, IT SHALL BE MADE MANIFEST FOR CROSS RIVERIANS TO SEE.

Politics they say is a game of interest. For core politicians, may be, the ones with no conscience , their interest superseeds every other thing . No wonder , some politicians will even sacrifice anything and everything for political power .

Reminiscing on the slogan that 'politics is a dirty game' and taking into consideration the 'winners take all' syndrome of our politicians today, creates a mix feeling in me about certain actions of the man, Engr. Ben Akak who instead of sacrificing everything and anything for his ambition , sacrificed his ambition for the larger communal interest. Communal interest that may have failed to protect his interest .

His continued saying of the word "if not me , it should be my brother'' when advances were made to him on how to realize his ambition using other platforms and channel, and relating it with facts currently on ground; was, and is an act that should be studied so that upcoming politicians will learn how to align their interest in future bearing in mind that when it comes to political power grabbing brotherhood, sisterhood, aunty(hood) and uncle(hood) may not matter much , but interest.

But one fact remains , no good deed goes unrewarded by God , and when the time is nigh , the manifestation shall be made clear to all Cross Riverians. After all , most people could not believe their eyes that they are what they today.
