My ÒJÒ ÒJÀ Experience 🇳🇬
From the vibrant streets of Abuja to the heart of national heritage at the Federal Ministry of Arts and Culture Nigeria, this journey has been nothing short of purposeful.
What began as a simple step of faith unfolded into a powerful cultural awakening—an immersion into identity, creativity, and service. Òjó Ójà is more than an experience; it is a call to preserve, promote, and project the richness of our traditions to the world.
In these four minutes, I share moments that shaped my perspective, strengthened my resolve, and reminded me that culture is not just history—it is a living legacy!
Finally, just as Princess Ginika Nwafor-Orizu; the representative of the Hon. Minister for Arts, Crafts, Tourism and Creative Economy at the event said, Let us always Buy Nigeria!, Wear Nigeria!! and Sell Nigeria!!!
This is my story. This is my Òjó Ójà Experience!

MASTER OF ARTS IN MUSIC THEORY AND COMPOSITION SUCCESSFULLY BAGGED!
My final defence marked a powerful convergence of scholarship, culture, and creativity as I presented my thesis, “ÁKWÁNWĀ - A Creative Exploration in Igbo Operatic Form.” The session was intense yet rewarding—an engaging exchange where I defended my ideas, methods, and artistic vision before a panel of distinguished scholars.
I did not go alone—I went with Oja Onye O ga-Adịrị Mma, which I played in deep gratitude to God for His benevolence. That moment added a spiritual and cultural depth to the occasion, making the experience even more meaningful.
This milestone reflects growth, resilience, and a commitment to advancing Igbo operatic expression within the broader space of art music. The journey continues—with purpose.

I was warmly welcomed by Professor Carol Chinyelugo Arinze-Umeobi, the Acting Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, alongside other university officials including my academic mentor and supervisor during my undergraduate and current postgraduate program
In her remarks, Professor Arinze-Umeobi stated, “On behalf of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Management, I extend our gratitude for your dedication and commitment.”

I was invited by the NYSC RADIO & TV as the GUEST OF THE MOMENT for the NYSC Half Hour Show which was supposed to last for 30mins but stretched over an hour long.😂
I enjoyed the moment as it was an avenue for positive pact and testimony to the wonderful platform NYSC offers to young graduates in a bid to set them up for life after school.
I shared interesting insights of my service year as well the many Community Development Service (CDS) projects which I carried and above all talked extensively about the National Music Album titled “I SERVED” which I composed and produced during the 2021 service year which I believe culminated in my award of not just Cross River State Best Corp Member of 2021 service year but also nominated me for the PRESIDENT’s NYSC HONOURS AWARD which was ceremoniously conferred on me on 29th July 2025 at the Banquet Hall A*o Rock Villa, Abuja.
I shall go on to carry this award and recognition in not just my heart but also in my words and deeds as a true ambassador of NYSC, Nigerian youth and Nigeria at large.
