The International Literacy Day is observed every 8th of September each year. This day aims to endorse campaigns that can lead to the improvement of literacy of people, especially in parts where it is needed the most.

2024 International Literacy Day under the theme: "Promoting Multilingual Education: Literacy for Mutual Understanding and Peace.

TEGGOW OBASE NKAMI GLOBAL FOUNDATION celebrates International Literacy Day by renewing our commitment to translation project, bringing education in the local Language of people to the people and ensuring that no one is left behind on the path to knowledge and scripture engagement.
