Dear Esteemed Colleagues,

The Executive Committee of NVMA Bauchi State Chapter was earlier today on a courtesy visit to the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), Bauchi State.

The Executive Committee were warmly welcomed by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐚 𝐀𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐮 𝐎𝐧𝐞 the L-PRES State Coordinator and his team. The visit was highly fruitful, yielding meaningful collaboration and partnership opportunities for the advancement of our profession.

We look forward to a productive relationship that will benefit veterinary practice and livestock development in the state.

We are pleased to inform you that the EXCO of NVMA Bauchi State Chapter today honored the invitation to the World Veterinary Day 2026 Symposium 🐕‍🦺🌍 and celebrated the day together with veterinary students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FVM), Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Bauchi🎓🐄

The event, themed "Veterinarians: Food and Health Guardians" 🍗🩺, featured a thought-provoking symposium titled "From Classroom to Field: Veterinary Students Advancing One Health in Research and Practice" 📚➡️🌾

At today's World Veterinary Day 2026 Symposium organized by the Association of Veterinary Medical Students, ATBU Bauchi, our Chairman, Dr. Abubakar Sadiq Ibrahim, was ably represented by the Secretary General, Dr. Bala Mu'azu Pali 🤝

The NVMA Bauchi State Chapter reaffirms its commitment to supporting veterinary students through mentorship, collaboration, and professional guidance 🌟. We are open to partnerships with the ATBU Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in areas such as student training, outreach programs, public health campaigns, and research initiatives 🏥📖🚀.

Together, we can strengthen veterinary practice and advance the One Health agenda in Bauchi State and beyond 🤝🌿

It was a fruitful engagement, fostering collaboration between practicing veterinarians and the next generation of colleagues 👏👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️.
