TOPIC: THE FOURTH MAN IS HERE
MORNING TEXT: DANIEL 3:6-25
MESSAGE
The three Jewish youths Shadrach, Meshack and Abed-Nego are subjects of focus in our today's devotional. Though they were honest, transparent and righteous they would have suffered unjustly even unto death if God was not on their side. Men who saw them as their enemies and threat to their evil living, conspired against them as seen from verse 8 of our text "Wherefore at that time, certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews. They spake and said to Nebuchadnezzar, oh king... There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province... They have not regarded thee, they serve not thy gods nor worship the golden image..."
The raging king after cross examination, humiliated and threw these three young Jews into the fiery furnace while their enemies rejoiced over their predicaments. But suddenly, there was a twist, the Fourth Man took over the scenerio. The Impossibility Specialist incapacitating the power of fire and converting the heat to Comfort of the fire survivors. What a Fourth Man! The king was forced to see and say "Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt... The form of the Fourth Man is like the Son of God. Hallelujah!!!"
PRAYER POINTS: START WITH PRAISE AND WORSHIP
1. Worship His Majesty with encomiums.
2. Pray the fire of the Holy ghost to defend and liberate you from any form of conspiracies.
3. Ask God to deliver you from nefarious activities of evil men.
4. Pray God to raise and stir up enemies for your enemies.
EVENING SESSION TEXT: PS. 124 :1-8
The Fourth Man shall work for you. He shall disappoint your detractors. Beloved let us sing with David the Psalms of 124:1-8 " If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say... When men rose up against us: Then they had swallowed us up quick, When their wrath was kindled against us: Then the waters had overwhelmed us, The stream had gone over our soul: Then the proud waters, Had gone over our soul. Blessed be the LORD, Who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth. Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: The snare is broken, and we are escaped. Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth". Goodnight.

TOPIC: DIVINE
FORGIVENESS
MORNING TEXT: LUKE 23:33-38
MESSAGE
Divine forgiveness is one of the topmost lessons one can gain from the death of our master Jesus. The moment the sacred blood began to flow, the intercession for sinners began. It was the moment when the pitiless murderers drove the six inches nails through his hands and feets cruelly.
This prompted the intercession as seen in verse 34 of our text, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do". The pleading was first for the ignorant heathen soldiers who were acting on instructions, then to all who took part in His condemnation and crucifixion and then to all who will not live a righteous life then, now and in the future.
Beloved, hear me, the plea is for you if you have not accepted Him. Are you among those who still reject Christ? Are you ready to practice divine forgiveness like our master Jesus? Consider the LORD JESUS, in His anguish, He uttered no cry of pain, no cursing upon those who we were causing Him such suffering - but calmly He prayed for His brutal and pitiless murderers - Father, forgive them... What a lesson we believers ought to borrow from our Master and put into practice. "To err is human but to forgive is divine." Good day.
PRAYER POINTS: START WITH PRAISE AND WORSHIP
1. Appreciate God for His goodness and mercy.
2. Pray God to deliver you from the spirit of unforgiveness.
3. Pray God also to allow others forgive you your past mistakes.
4. Pray the Holy Spirit to encourage you carry the cross you are called to bear.
EVENING SESSION TEXT: LUKE 23:34
This prayer from our Lord teaches us a great lesson — After He had wrought miracles of mercy with no charges. After He had taught and spoken as never any man spoke. After His messianic conditions was fulfilled. They led Him to the slaughter. He was flogged, spat upon, mocked, pierced on His side but He saw from His cross the lost world down to the end and prayed thus, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do".
He has never stopped this prayer of intercession. He prayed for His murderers, just so we should pray for those who injures us. So should it be with Christ's people. Instead of resentment and injury for injury, we should show only sweet tender love to those who harm us. Goodnight

TOPIC: THE ROLE OF A CRITIC
MORNING TEXT: 1 KINGS 17:1-16
MESSAGE
It is commonly said that statues are never built in honour of critics. While it is not bad to criticise people who are not doing what they ought to be doing, you must not just stop there but go further to proffer solutions to ameliorate the severity rather than being complicit. Our text this morning saw Elijah as not a mere critic but channel for blessing. "And Elijah said... As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word." (1 Kings 17:1). Elijah started out as a critic. The king wasn't behaving in the right manner, and just like any critic, Elijah walked into the palace and confronted him. However, he didn't stop there; he moved on to become a vessel that God used to provide for the needs of a poor widow and her son (1 Kings 17:8-16). Carrying placards and protesting will attract the attention of the people you are criticising. However, beyond that, you must grow to a point where you can recommend and even provide some of the solutions you are demanding. Don't just become a critic that challenges those in authority; grow to the point where your impact cannot be ignored. You can be honest on how you feel about situations as long as you are not insulting the authorities involved. Good day.
PRAYER POINTS: START WITH PRAISE AND WORSHIP
1. Begin to appreciate God for the new day.
2. Ask the Lord to forgive you in areas you lashed your leaders wrongly.
3. Pray to be a damage control manager.
4. Pray the Holy Spirit to bring the necessary solutions.
EVENING SESSION TEXT: MATTHEW 10:16
Beloved, be wise. God has a great destiny for you. Do not let overzealousness prevent you from fulfilling your destiny. Rather than just being a mere noisemaker, increase your capacity so that you can indeed become a force to be reckoned with. Your zeal should be matched with the right knowledge and actions. Don't just criticise things or people; become a part of the solution you desire to see.
Our evening text says, "Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves." Christians need to be as strategic as serpents. The most dangerous thing about a serpent is its silence when it wants to attack its prey. When it attacks, the prey only realizes it when it is already too late. Good night.

TOPIC: SIGHT TO THE BLIND
MORNING TEXT: JOHN 9:6-7
MESSAGE
The world admires the act - but here is one still more beautiful. The King of Glory sees a poor blind beggar sitting in darkness, is moved with compassion for him, and stops to open his eyes. We here trace the course of Christ with this blind man. He saw him, and was touched by his condition. He came unasked to the blind man, and brought the healing unsought to him. He touched his eyes, bringing Himself as the light of the world - into contact with the man's darkness. So Christ comes first to us, not waiting to be sought. In His incarnation, He brought Himself in contact with our fallen nature to save it. By His Spirit He touches each blind soul that believes, and brings light and salvation to it. Verses 1 and 7 of our text account for His benevolence, "And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth. And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing." Beloved, this divine visitation is locating you right away. You are recovering your sight, you are regaining all that you lost. You will no longer grope or stumble in the dark. You will not only see the physical, you will also see the spiritual splendour of His glory. Good day.
PRAYER POINTS: START WITH PRAISE AND WORSHIP
1. Begin to appreciate God for His goodness and mercy.
2. Pray to receive not only your sight but to receive your spiritual.
3. Pray that your divine helper locates and visits you now.
4. Pray to believe and obey divine instructions.
EVENING SESSION TEXT:
Christ uses means in the opening of men's spiritual eyes also. He sends His grace to us through His Word, through the ordinances, through the touch and love of human friends. He gave this man something to do, something requiring obedience and action. So He gives the sinner something to do, asking him to believe, to rise up, to wash in the fountain, to confess his Savior, and follow Him into lowly service. Thus, the curing of this blind man illustrates the opening of the spiritual eyes.
