Withdraw your energy. Totally.

If it is not appreciated, leave it there.

Stop forcing yourself into places where you are tolerated but not valued.

Energy is not small.

Your ideas.

Your presence.

Your loyalty.

Your effort.

Your time.

All of it is energy.

And energy is expensive.

Some people will make you feel like you are asking for too much…when all you are asking for is basic respect.

You show up.

You contribute.

You care.

You go the extra mile.

But it is ignored.

Overlooked.

Downplayed.

I need you to read carefully.

Not everybody deserves access to you.

There are rooms where your voice will sound like noise.

And there are rooms where that same voice will sound like wisdom.

The difference is not you.

It is the room.

I stopped trying to convince people of my value, I just give my best.

If they cannot see it, I step back.

Withdraw your energy. Totally.

Don’t fight.

Don’t argue.

Don’t announce your departure.

Just reduce access.

Take that same energy and invest it where it is welcomed.

Where effort is noticed.

Where loyalty is respected.

Where growth is encouraged.

Some people are starving for the exact value you are wasting elsewhere.

Let those people have you. You will be shocked how fast you grow when you stop pouring into dry ground.

Protect your energy.

Others deserve it more.
