OUR DEMANDS OF THE GREATEST NIGERIAN STUDENTS!!!

The transition Committee in its unquenchable desire to have the students, both new and returning students back to a suitable campus deemed it fit to visit both male and female hostels in Mini and main campuses of our great institution of learning.
It is born out of these visits that we make the following urgent request:
AT THE BOYS HOSTEL (PAMSITE AND MINI CAMPUSES)
(1) That proper cleaning of the hostel be made for a welcoming resumption.

(2) Fumigation of the hostels to avoid the attraction of reptiles and harmful insects.

(3) Proper lighting of the hostels, using solar power source as alternative to augment the present source of electric power.

(4) Ensure uninterrupted water supply by putting in place sufficient water tanks(GEPEE TANKS) as reservoirs.

(5) Increase of hostel cleaners to meet the shortage of staff at the hostels.

(6)Cover the gutters of the hostels to avoid breeding of mosquitoes.

(7) Complete replacement and repair of spoilt and worn out doors and windows.

(8) Securing the hostel surrounding by clearing grown up shrubs and bryophyte that could attract harmful animals to the danger of our lovely students.

NEVERTHELESS, AT THE GIRLS HOSTELS BOTH MINI AND PERMANENT SITE, THE UNION DEMANDS:
(1) proper Lighting of the hostels.

(2)Iron netting of the toilets windows to discourage illicit deification (Short putting).

(3) Putting in place indoor games such as Table tennis boards, Chess, Scrabble games including out door games to encourage sportsmanship and participation in NUGA Games, because this is a university where talents should be groomed and not discourage as it where!!!
Uninterrupted water supply as well as Fumigating the hostel.

It is worrisome to know that the students of our supposed 21st century university are lagging far behind in unavoidable infrastructure and we as a matter of urgency call on the appropriate authority to put their hands on deck and do the needful as the students of this important institute in the eye of Africa look forward to a better Inter campus shuttle service delivery.
