A friend gave me gist on what happened to one real estate agent in Abuja.

So sometime last week, an agent recieved a call from a number asking if he could help her get a shortlet apartment in Mbora for a week stay.

The agent swung into action right away thinking it’s normal business as usual. He was able to get a good offer for the client.

The client shows up covered from head to toe in hijab exposing only her eyes. He never bothered to ask for her valid ID or passport photo.

I am not sure if she was given any KYT form to fill, if she was, she obviously gave them false information.

She paid the agent his fees and took over the apartment.

Unsuspecting to the management of the facility, the lady committed murder in the very apartment she lodged and left the co**se there. No one knows how it happened.

She fled and has not been seen till today.

The owner of the facility and the agent was called upon by the police to provide her accurate information and sadly, they couldn’t.

They have both been detained at the station 🥹.

I am not sure the agent made up to 20,000 naira from that business transaction. Both him and the property owner risks serving jail time if the lady isn’t found.
